The final cookie from our annual Cookie Day is Chocolate Puffs.
I’ve seen these cookies floating all over the Pinterest and Facebook world throughout this holiday season and they all have different titles. I think the most popular name for them is Chocolate Crinkles, but my husband’s family calls them Chocolate Puffs so that title stays, plus I think it’s a good title.
Chocolate Puffs
Using a mixer, cream together the shortening, sugar, and vanilla. Next, beat in the eggs and melted chocolate. Add the dry ingredients alternately with milk. Chill then make into balls. Roll in powdered sugar and bake.
I like to compare these cookies to a brownie, but in a cookie form;) They are so fudgy and gooey and you can’t beat the powdered sugar topping! That’s like the icing on the cake…or cookie!
These would be an excellent treat at your next holiday party!
