It’s heating up this Summer and your kiddos will love this fun treat! No need to head to the gas station because you can make and even better slushie right at home. This 3 Ingredient Kool-Aid Slushie will be your kid’s new favorite Summer treat!
My girls love trying new recipes in the kitchen, so when they asked to try this and I saw that it was only 3 ingredients AND I had all of them on hand…SCORE!!!
The hardest part of this recipe is deciding which flavor Kool-Aid you want to use! Luckily, they all agreed on orange. I didn’t have any blue-raspberry or that probably would’ve been a strong contender!
I had enough for all 3 of my girls using one recipe. Their glasses were a bit on the small side, so if you want a larger glass you may have to make another batch. You may end up making another batch anyway because they will down it in no time and be asking for seconds!
3 Ingredient Kool-Aid Slushie
You will need:
1/2-1 teaspoon Kool-Aid powder from the packets. (The fun part about this recipe is that you can’t mess it up. If you like things sour, add in more powder. If sour isn’t your gig, add a little less.)
1 Cup Sprite or 7-UP, cold is best
3-4 Cups ice
Pour the Kool-Aid, Sprite or 7-UP and 2 Cups of ice into a blender and blend for about 30 seconds. Add 1 Cup of ice and blend for an additional 30 seconds. Add the remaining cup of ice if needed. Pour into glasses, add a straw, and enjoy!
So simple and tasty. The kids can even make these themselves. Have them make one for you while they’re at it!
For an adult version, try mixing in some Vodka. Although, I don’t suggest letting the kids make the adult version for you;).
I hope this 3 Ingredient Kool-Aid Slushie makes the hottest days of Summer just a little bit cooler!
