Does your family love banana bread? Add a new twist on the traditional banana bread with this Snickerdoodle Banana Brad recipe.
We love bananas in our house. Their an easy snack to grab and go and I love packing them in lunches or for snacks during ball games. My favorite way to eat them is with peanut butter! Yumm-o!!! Of course, that takes all of the healthiness out of them, right? Hey, it’s just added protein!
I usually try to grab green bananas when I’m at the store that way they have a longer shelf life at our house, but sometimes we don’t always gobble them up before they get brown and mushy. What do you do when life gives you brown, mushy bananas? You make banana bread.
My girls will eat banana bread in any way, shape, or form, but I have to admit, I was getting tired of the traditional flavor, so I decided to mix it up a little bit with this Snickerdoodle Banana Bread version and my, oh, my….it is so good! That cinnamon, sugar coating is delish! This recipe makes two loaves which I love because one doesn’t seem to last long in our house, or I can freeze one for later, or share with a friend!
